Hands-on Skill Development Initiative is an organization offering vocational training programs with a focus on an educational system where skills development predominantly overshadows traditional academics.

The Aims and Objectives of the association are:

1. To contribute to the enhancement of the Nation’s aim to realize the vision of Nigeria becoming one of the twenty largest economies in the world, contributing immensely to the transformation of our youthful population into highly skilled competent citizens capable of fully addressing the needs of the growing economy and competing favorably in the global arena.
2. To help train these citizens and to create an atmosphere for proper training programs that would make our youth viably employable.
3. To partner with the private sector during our skills training and development to fill that gap between the training we shall provide and the actual needs of employers
4. Facilitate programs that will encourage self-employment by bringing on board training providers with relevant labor market expertise, resources and diversity.
5. Beneficiaries shall be exposed to skills appraised for certification by bodies such as NATIONAL BOARD FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (NBTE), THE INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT, THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND PRODUCTIVITY. We shall also seek accreditation from international institutions worldwide in order to give the best to our teeming youths.
6. To ensure that our trainees understand how to use their expertise to improve the society and elevate our national aspiration for development.
